Acropora is one of the most rewarding corals in the hobby, and one of the most demanding. It's a small polyp stony (SPS) coral best suited to experienced reefers, since it's highly sensitive to water chemistry and needs high light and strong alternating flow. Before adding Acropora, make sure you have reliable test kits and rock-steady Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium in an established tank that's been running at least six months.
